The Magicorto dream began back in 1985 when Lorenzo and Elena hung
up their suitcases and decided to settle in the Countryside. Being the
first to use organic farming techniques in the area gave them both
great satisfaction and their locally grown organic produce was an
immediate success in the local markets.
They were convinced to open a business, ‘Suca Baruca’ which
would sell not only their own organic product, but also that of other
local producers.
In the meantime Giacomo and Camilla were born whose passion for the
countryside and good food have proved invaluable in the the running of
the business. And in time these passions shared by the family led to
the conclusion of opening an agriturismo and IL Magicorto restaurant
was created.
10 years later and the recently renovated Magicorto now offers lodgings
as well as a new restaurant area.
The restaurant now offers almost exclusively products grown on our own
farm where we raise cattle, pigs, and chickens as well as grow our
famed organic fruit and vegetables.
The Sellen family are always proud to share their hospitality and
